Sa’yo ang Bukas
From the very beginning of Bukas, Angel and I knew that if we were ever lucky enough to have a space of our own, we wanted to make room for other people’s ideas, too.
We know from experience how difficult it can be to find a place to bring an idea to life, especially a space that won’t break the bank. For some, opportunities may come through connections or an existing network. But for people like us, who started without many of those connections, finding the right space can be a real struggle.
So even before we opened our doors, we made a promise to ourselves:
If we have a space someday, we will share it.
That promise became Sa’yo ang Bukas, a dedicated day when we open our café, free of charge, to creatives, small businesses, bakers, makers, artists, and anyone with something they’re ready to share.
Whether you’ve been dreaming of your first pop-up, testing a new concept, introducing your creation to a new crowd, or simply looking for a place where your idea can come to life, this space is for you.
We believe good things happen when people are given the space to try, create, connect, and take a chance on an idea.
Tomorrow will always come with hope, possibilities, and a little uncertainty. But on this day, one thing is certain:
Sa’yo ang Bukas.
